    What was wrong with the old thread?

    Also there is still election of council chamber chairperson as well as all the bye-elections coming up soon.

    The older thread had an attached rule regards posting whereas this one does not.
    I was not aware that there were more elections on the horizon (zilch interest in any of it on my part) but be that as it may I cannot imagine there will be students canvassing on campus for candidates and therefore there should be no major conflicts of interest with regards posting here.

    So, in a nutshell...........

    This thread can hold posts discussing past SU elections and the forthcoming elections without need for "allegiances posts" beforehand
