I'm looking for maths sites that explain in depth certain questions? I'm doing HL at the moment and would like to for the Junior Cert. I did really badly in the mocks with only 32% but we didn't have the whole course finished (couldn't do 2.5 questions in paper2).

I'm looking for a C in the Junior Cert, so if you have any websites that are good, please send them. Also are there any of those "shortcuts to success" types books that are good?

I don't no about sites, but I got a D in the mocks and I bought a revise-wise, it's great I've been doing a **** ton of exam questions with the help of it and already I'm confident of at least and honour.

Khanacademy.org is what I used to study for my JC last year :)

Also, in terms of studying, what i recommend to do it to do a certain question, eg. Q1 P1, from all the papers you have, I found it really helps because you see the trends in the questions and after a while you realise its practically the same stuff every year!

If you need any help with questions or anything dont hesitate to send me a Pm, I got an A in maths last year, so I know my stuff :L

Thanks, we have a Paper 2 exam after Easter and if you fail, you go to pass. I really need to try honours. If I need help I will, thanks again for the offer. I just normally find it hard to figure out what method to do but once I know, I can do it. I'm aiming for a C, which think is reasonable.

My grinds teacher and maths teacher said the maths mocks are a good bit harder than the actual Junior Cert, and that whatever you got in the mocks, should go up by at least one grade.
Also recommend shortcuts to success or revise wise for maths.

Our Maths teacher was surprised about how hard it was, compared to last years. Do you think with a bit more study and one of those study books I could get a C? Aiming for all honours in my Junior Cert.

It depends on how much yo want it. It is entirely possible to go from 32% - 55%(atleast.)
My maths teacher says she has often seen people go from d's in the mocks to b's in the JC. That's the same as an E to a C. Good look.. get going though.

I didn't study a bit for the mocks, and still haven't started, but i got 2 D's (maths and science), 2 B's and the rest C's all higher level subjects.
Most people in my class failed the maths exam.
Listen in class and do at least one exam question a night or an hour of maths a night and you'll get at least a B.
    ....Study would help too.

    Seriously!?! That's crazy..

Teacher deserves to be fired IMO.

It's not the teacher, it's the students. My class is a higher level class but half the people shouldn't even be there but the teacher wants to give everyone a chance.

It's a bit the teachers, my school has two HL math classes for JC (with different teachers.)
1 out of 16 in my class failed. . . only 4 out of 18 passed in the other class.
