Want To Bet - Having Weird Problems With PaddyPower.com - Should I Trust Them?

I went to the PaddyPower website this morning and they had a special 'If you sign up, we'll match your first bet, up to 50 Euro'. I thought, 'Hey, that sounds good.'

When I got home from work, I went and signed up; but didn't see the voucher that the website said I should have. There was nothing on my account to indicate the matching bet (but the help file says it should).

I chatted with their support and they told me I didn't sign up 'correctly' but, as a sign of good-will, they would give me the same deal. Only, they have to do it 'manually'. They told me to go ahead and fund my account, place a 'qualifying bet' and then 'let them know' so that they can match the bet.

I'm worried that once I fund my account and place my bet, they'll have no knowledge of this 'matched bet' and tell me 'too bad'.

Has anyone gone through this before? Should I trust them at their word, or just say fek it?

You will have no problems just place the 1st bet over the phone so you can confirm with the person that you'll get your bet.
