Yup, DIY might be more successful. also, you might need to specify what type of barbecue. Gas ones are probably best left to a professional, dont want to blow the back off your house!

    Cheers guys,

Basically its a gas BBQ and the ingnitor switches are broke,I dismantled it the other day and its rusting away so Ive resigned myself to buying a new one now,Ive learned a few lessons now..

Like putting it in the shed during winter

Hey does anyone know a BBQ repair service on northside (or Southside) of Dublin - husband is no good at DIY and have a BIG family BBQ on Saturday 7th July - BBQ is a Ultra Chef gas BBQ and knobs to start the ignitors are not working. Any help would be great as I don't want to buy a new BBQ?

Don't bother with the ignition switch. mine has been broken for years. Just turn on the gas and use a gas cooker lighter
