I can't believe some of the nerve of these English reporters

When I was watching the Champions League quarter-final draw on Sky. Real Madrid's representative was there yet the English reporter was in his face after the draw with the microphone asking if Mourinho was staying, what were the possibilities on him leaving.

Imagine if this was last year and a Spanish reporter was in Man United's representative faced enquiring about the availabilty of Alex Ferguson, will he leave soon and when.

It really does border on the arrogant. Rubber necks they have, rubber necks. What are yer opinions?

Sure after Real's win over CSKA, Geoff Shreeves interviews Xabi Alonso and asked him what he thought of Chelsea's victory over Napoli that night! Like, wtf??

mourinho has a habit of leaving clubs, ferguson doesnt

there is speculation about mourinho leaving, there's not about ferguson

i dont see how the two things are remotely comparable

So would you prefer a Ryan Tuburdy style approach where the most controversial question asked is what did you have for breakfast this morning? I like reporters that ask hard questions.

Sky Sports News have always been bad for stuff like that, but I honestly feel like this season they have out-done themselves with appalling tabloid behaviour.

The reporters are far more 'in your face' when it comes to demanding answers now, Kenny Dalglish looks like he wants to deck whoever is interviewing him, although they would probably love that story and give us minute by minute updates of the condition of the reporters nose.

Also, this January's transfer deadline day was one of the cringey-est things ive ever witnessed.

A few weeks ago when Messi got 5 in the CL, there was a post-match interview with Cesc Fabregas, and what else does the reporter ask one of the best players in Europe only.......... what do you think of Messi? How important is Messi to Barcelona? Is Messi's talent important to the club? etc..... Imagine being Cesc in that interview. How degrading would it be for him to be asked questions like that after him putting on a great performance in a great win.

I also think they asked about Guardiola leaving in the same interview. I could be mistaken though.

That would be fine if they did that for all managers, including English one's. Don't think Harry has being asked a difficult question. In 4 weeks he went from saying we can win the league to saying we are over-achieving. That sudden change of tone did my fcuking head in and he was never called out on it. If it was a foreign manager no doubt the question would have been raised, but not for the future England manager:mad: Still like Harry and all that, but he gets away with murder from the media.

I was embarrassed watching that interview with the sheer lack of respect shown to Cesc, he was asked about 10 quickfire questions all looking for a headline quote about Messi or Guardiola.

I think he handled it very well, didn't give them what they want while keeping his cool.

    That's another example.
