    Hello,
    booking a holiday for me and my girlfriend, been to bulgaria last year and loved it but was thinking of going somewhere different, is madrid good for young people?....expensive? and is it worth the visit?

    I've been to Madrid a few times. I really like the city. Got impressive architecture, grand wide big boulevards if that's your thing.

    I didn't do the nightlife part. a. Coz I was off booze the time I went and b. The nightclub scene there seems very young and i'm not :(. But yeah pretty sure you can party into the early hours of the morning there and meant to be some cool clubs.

    Madrid isn't particularly expensive, especially as the big cities of Europe go, way cheaper than London or Paris or Dublin for that matter. I found hotels reasonably enough priced there too.

    I like Madrid anyway - got a good buzz to it -but different people like different cities so don't blame me if you go and don't ;)
