Don't think anyone mention the EHU cable and a hose yet. Both fairly essential especially the hose and an assortment of tap connections.

Definitely worth packing a decent first aid kit, no sense in spoiling a holiday for the sake of a few tablets.

Since all the mentions of beer:
    Panadol
    Neurofen
    Alkaselzer/gaviscon/maalox (whichever you fancy)
    Motillium (excellent for travel/seasickness too)
Losec / Zantac (if you have major acid problems)

    Also:
    Sunblock
    Aftersun
Dioralyte (for the heat stroke / dehydration cause by delhibelly/drinking)
    Anthisan (for the midgies)
    Burn spray

As well as a small first aid kit with gauze, swabs etc:
    Micropore tape
    Couple of Medipore dressings

    Useful:
Magnifier and decent tweezers for thorns, splinters etc.
Pointed tweezers for removing ticks from people and pets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wotB38WrRY

    Sewing kit
    Superglue
    Epoxy putty
    Fuses
    Bulbs
    Basic tool kit

[edit]Oh and depending on where you're going milton for the water[/edit]
