    Hi all,

Looking for a decent mechanic in the Saggart/Rathcoole area to have a look at my car, there's a rattle underneath and it's driving me potty. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    could be your exhaust.
grab the back box by the tip and give it a good shake, see if its the same rattle sound.

    It's not the exhaust.

go to any garage, and ask to do diagnostics... just ask price first, .. shouldn't be more than 20 euro for diagnosis. might will get price, in case youll want fix that. indie would be fine.

When you say rattle could it possibly be a more of banging sound when going on rough ground(metal hitting metal). The front links in these give a bit of bother.

Could be a heat shield. Or maybe a exhaust hanger has come loose.
