I'm more impressed by the hidden mudguard bosses - nice to see a high-end bike that can take full mudguards.

Cancellara seemingly rode this bike when he won Strade Bianche a few weeks ago, so I presume he'll be using it again tomorrow in Ronde van Vlaanderen.

Trek are great for this. I commute on my Madone with full mudguards. Much better than the clip-on ones. I can't see any reason why other manufacturers can't do the same

Well the trek is more dignified than some Paris-Roubaix specials.

    "IsoSpeed"
"It’s got technology built into it that basically isolates your comfort from your power."
    "Race-optimised cable routing. "

So much BS. It should translate to "We made it flexy as hell so your butt doesn't feel the cobbles as much, but apparantely we couldn't keep the same stiffness so we came up with a bunch of stupid names!"

Not a fan of Trek but I have to give them that they spent a good amount of money in R&D.

There's also the decidedly low tech approach of just riding a stell bike, ala Ballan

Didn't Cannondale have a system bike back in the day that comprised a suspension/damper integrated into the headset?
