I am currently studying for a Masters in Engineering and there is papers in the ACI which I need. Does anyone know if there is any way to get them without being a member of the ACI?

I am a student member of Istruc and Engineers Ireland. Is there a way to get them through that?

Why not become a student member of ACI? Does your college have access to their publications? They probably do

From my recollection Bolton Street DIT has copies of them, however with the internet now, the college may have them all online, internet just came out when I was in college:o

Student membership is a couple of hundred dollars and per document it is $30. I simply cannot affored this. I'm in UCD and there is no way I can get them through the college I have searched and asked around. I have been told to email and explain the situation to ACI but I'd say thats not a great idea.

I'm doing the thesis on torsion in a slab and most of the relevant documents I come across are from the ACI :(

Student e-membership is free and gives you access to the "Concrete knowledge centre".

Alternatively, if you know someone working in a design office, you could ask them to look up the Barbour Index or IHS or similar.
