SSD and RAM Upgrade - Advice

Hi all, I have a mid 2009 unibody aluminium MBP. It has a regular HDD and 2GB RAM. I thought about upgrading the HDD to an SSD and swapping the 2GB of RAM for 8GB(essentially as it's so cheap, i thought, why not just go to 8 instead of 4) Could anyone confirm that the following SSD and RAM are compatibale with the mid 2009…

Go to http://www.crucial.com/eu/apple/ and you can put in your exact model and see for yourself. You could decide to purchase directly (rather than through Amazon) - prices will increase very slightly from those shown once you select Ireland as your country (due to vat) but delivery is free so at least you can compare.
