Just a heads up that the apparently excellent overview of pretty much everything to do with wine - Larousse Wine - is currently on offer on LivingSocial (Amazon reviews). I'm just getting 'into' wine myself and this looks like a great starting point. Also available is Larousse Gastronomique, the cookery bible (Amazon reviews). Wine is €23, Gastronomique is €29, or both for €48. Delivery included. Seems to be selling fast - 73 copies left from 250 yesterday.
