There's one across the road from the sinn fein office. Think that would be more along the lines of an Asian shop though.

There's a place on Pembroke street, it's down the street from the Greyhound bar, can't think of the name of it though

The shop is called 'Pak Halal'. He's open until 8pm. He ordered a few things specifically for me.

For the record, Pak Halal some while ago moved to Upper Castle Street. But ...now it is closed completely:(

there is a newish shop just a block or 2 up from penneys though, run by the same man who has one in killarney, ive started going there as prices were decent and i was mostly looking for dates and the brown-with-green-writing tubs of tahini.

There is one in castle st still. It's had a paint job & a name change in the last 2 months, but it's still in the same hands.

that's closed. There is one just opposite Moyderwell road, its changed names recently to A1 Supermarket I think, but it does Asian foods. There is another one on Castle street, accross from Bank of Ireland, not sure of the name, but its a blue shopfront. I don't think there are anymore around at the moment, most of them have closed now.

The one you are referring to is called Yusuf Spice

just to edit that the one at Moyderwell cross is called 'Galaxy Supermarket', not A1 which I think it was called at some point!

Hi, does anyone happen to have contact number for --i think its yusuf spice---the blue shopfront a block or two past penneys...think he also has a shop in killarney. Either shop number or a mobile would do if anyone has one...cant find on internet, live in Dingle, and was hoping to order a case of something before end of next week. Thank you!

I can't find any number for them either online or in the phone book! I don't think they have a number on their sign either! Maybe try the other spice shop at Moyderwell cross, A1 Superstore, their number is 066-7818990

Hi, I was a regular customer to both shops (Killarney & Tralee). Just to clarify, there are actually 2 Yusufs. They are brothers from Baghdad. Both shops open almost everyday from 9-6.
