    Quick question.

Father Allergic to Difene(Diclofenac). Had major reaction some years ago. Head like beach-ball, colour of tomato massive swelling, hospitalised for a while, very serious.

Second reaction of holiday some time ago in Australia. Went into pharmacist with neck pain after flight and given Voltarol(brand) after telling her hes allergic to Diclofeac. Small dose but holiday marred by it. Only realises after gets back and I put 2 + 2 together by questioning him (He never coped the Voltarol was Difene by another name, assumed Pharmacist was listeneing or not an idiot). Anyway so thats the history.

Ive just found him downstairs in serious discomfort, all red and skin kinda stretched -swolen but hes refusing to budge, wont let me wake anyone. I looked at the bag and in big print "Anti Inflamatory", smaller at bottom "Diclofenac". His GP for all these years has now prescribed him the same drug even though he knows hes allergic. He only took one and I'm gonna keep an eye on him.

My question is. Is this acceptable? Worthy of a complaint? He never even recovered from the first major one. His ankles swelled massively and have never been the same since or pain free. Pretty annoyed. I know hes playing it down ATM.
