Anyone here have a motorcycle insurance policy with this crowd? If so, what do you think of them? I'm considering changing my current insurers to them? I got a renewal quote from carole nash and they have upped their price from last year. This is the first time my insurance has increased at renewal time!
I got a quote online from liberty and they are offering me comprehensive for €86 less than what CN want. I am very tempted to go with this and was just wondering if anyone has dealt with them, what are they like?

I was with Quinn last year so when my renewal came in the post it was for Liberty. Imagine its no real change from Quinn. Go back to CN and they should match your quote. After I'd paid for my policy Adelaide got back to me saying they'd beat Libertys price but was too late then.

Same as last poster really. I have had them for car insurance for 2 years(called quinn) and bike the last few months. I haven't had issues ever with them. They also take Aon bike assessments if you have one which is a bonus.

I've been with them (well, Quinn) for the last 5 years with the car, and the last 7 months with the bike. I've never had any problems with them. You get money off if you've more than one policy with them. And the fact they accept insurance assessments knocks another bit off the premium. I've never made a claim though, knock on wood, so I can't say I've had too much of an interaction with them apart from giving them my money.

I couldn't beat the quote I got from Adelaide.
They were 65 cheaper than CN and they'll do installments
Mine works out at 14 pm.:D

Liberty don't allow you to ride other bikes on the policy, and don't do multi-bike cover. My quote for Liberty this year was over €700 for both a R1200RT and Transalp-CN quoted less than €400 for the exact same, but I can ride otehr bikes if I want to...made the decision very easy! I'd go back to CN and ask them to match, they should do with any luck...

They were about 4.5k cheaper for me. Don't think CN like me.

I'm insured with Liberty (formerly Quinn) and while they are cheap, they are a nightmare to deal with on the phone. They know absolutely nothing about bikes and to be honest anyone I speak to there seems like they would rather Liberty didn't insure bikes. I don't know about other insurance companies but my boyfriend is insured with Aon and maybe it's just the particular person there that he deal with but they actually have a clue about bikes.

I had to deal with Adelaide recently due to a screw up with another insurance company. They dealt with it quickly, gave me a realistic timeline which was completely truthful, kept me updated on the whole time as soon as possible and were a pleasure to deal with. I kept thinking through the whole thing that the service I offer is crap in comparison.

What kind of crap service do you offer?
I really liked Adelaides phone manner, renewal sent early and with the best quote I could find.
Mine expired last night and a pleasant young chap rang me and asked me if I wanted to renew, I explained that I was a bit skint and he said no problems that they could do installments.
All in all a nice company to deal with in my experience over the last 2 years.

I used to work in a on-site level 2 tech support role. Now its a concierge desk with a large number of high level techs being paid to basically wait around for a phone call that might happen in a extremely specialist subject range. Still not that good at updating the customer.

CN rang back today offering a quote of €357 which is 10 less than Liberty. That's some jump from an initial quote of 453.50!! Thing is, I'll be paying in installments and liberty's one works out cheaper in the long run than CN. I don't need multi-bikes cover.

I was with Adelaide the year before last and found them very helpful to deal with, but I changed to CN coz Adelaide don't cover foreign use.

By the way, I got an online quote from AON for €348 and rang them yesterday to find out if they cover foreign use. Guy who answered told me that all their lines were busy and that someone would ring me back today. No-one called. Meh!
