    Hi all,

Was hoping some people might be able to help me. I'm hoping to propose at the end of April and although I initially decided to buy the ring myself- I've had to scupper that plan as I found out my OH doesn't like the style I had intended so I think Ill buy with her.

Now we're living in Dublin and I'm hoping to propose near Limerick- my plan had been to propose with promise ring/charm and then head straight into a jewellers in the city. After research my preference is Keane's Jewellers- has anyone had experience with them and would they recommend?

I know I may be tying myself down with picking a jewellers and not shopping around but although I don't trust myself to buy the ring I know my OH will prefer to have one that day! Any help greatly appreciated!!

Keane's is nice, and I know of several people who got rings there. But this is in Cork, so don't know about Limerick. I would imagine the service there will be the same.

You should be able to find something lovely there. Good luck!

Friends of mine have purchased their rings and other jewellery from Keanes in Limerick. They have an excellent reputation. Best of Luck to you and your intended.

Keane's is a good choice. But how much time do you have? Are you in a rush? And most importantly, are you on a budget?

If you want to get a good deal and you can wait a little bit longer I would highly recommend looking online because you'll get the best deal and online jewelers have a much better selection. The best deals surprinsgly are from American online jewelers like James Allen and Blu Nile. James Allen also ships free to Ireland and many European countries too.

If you can't wait, then you'll have to go to a jewelry store. I'm sure you'll find something nice, but you'll end up paying more. Good luck!
