Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone here advise me on the 1200 units they are selling. Are they remanufactured or originals just scrubbed up? I've been looking for awhile on adverts etc for a 1200 but nothing is coming up so I want to bite the bullit and buy one from amigakit. I had an Amiga 600 before so I always said if I go the Amiga route again it would be a decent mint condition 1200 model!

Any advice on Amigakit? Good to deal with? Was the system in good condition?

    Thanks

They're refurbished. They look expensive, but I'd say they do them to a very high spec. Cap replacement and all that jazz.

I bought mine off a German seller on ebay a couple of years back. Looked brand new, had a fast RAM upgrade and a compact flash harddrive loaded with games. Came to around €300 posted.

I'd been on the lookout ages and that was a good deal. So if you can get that kind of system for the same or less I think you'd be doing well.

They've been out of stock since September last year and haven't got 1 in since then. So you might be out of luck on that front.
    Ebay is your best bet.

I bought a similar setup from amibayba year ago or so. Just over 200 inc shipping and paypal fees.

Ye you can generally pick them up for f all when they pop up. I dont think I wanna spend mad money on one though. I might hold out a tad longer and see if i can get one for well under 100 if possible.

Think mine cost €120 off Adverts a good while back, had an IDE hard drive inside it which I swapped for that compact flash card one you can get off ebay.

How weird... I wonder why the left hand side of the photo of the 1200 itself is photoshopped/edited. Must have been something there that he didn't want us to see. :pac:
