Any Americans (or social work students) at Trinity?

Apologies if this has been asked to death!

I have a BA from a university in the US (I'm American) and I'm very interested in pursuing postgrad study at Trinity, specifically social work. I think the website says the minimum GPA for the program is a 3.2, and mine is slightly higher (3.4) but it's still not that great. I do have some internship experience (two clinical internships and I'm a certified crisis counselor, I don't know how much that helps!) Plus I've been told there's a bit of leniency given to international students because they can charge us so much?

I'm a little discouraged about my chances to be honest and I was wondering if any Americans who were accepted could share their stories/experiences/tips?

Also, any social work students of any nationality please feel free to tell me if you like the program :)

    Thanks everyone! ~Marlena

Also, if I don't meet the qualifications for the SW course (because of a lack of knowledge in social policy for example) could I potentially apply to other social studies courses for a Masters and then transfer to the SW? How does that work?
