I recall games being moved to the Saturday night previously. I have a friend over from the states that weekend and am trying to book things (including the game).

Does anyone know the likelihood of the match being moved to the Saturday night?

    Cheers.

Fixture dates don't get sorted til 2 weeks previous. Id say Saturday night is the most likely.

Normally if there's CL games on the proceeding Tuesday/Wednesday (which there is provided either team gets there) then the games would be played on the Saturday.

Fairly certain, it's always on the Saturday at 22.00 because that time slot is given to the match they'll show on RTVE (the Spanish RTÉ) and this is the biggest game of the year so they'll get it.

Though, iirc, they moved one of the league games to a Sunday or a Monday last year. Can't remember why.

Moved to a Monday because of Spanish general elections

The Clasico is usually announced more than the usual 10 days by the Spanish FA. I would imagine they will see do Barca progress in the CL and a definite decision will be made by this day week.
