    a blatant attempt at securing this fight....what say the irish mma fans? imho arguably our top p4p fighter, amazingly skillful against a legend, a former UFC champ.

    I only said this to Andy Ryan yesterday I'd love to see this fight!! You have my vote. Owen has been one of my favourite Irish fighters for a long time. This would be a great fight and I'd stick my neck out and predict Owen by KO in the second.

    I know the purpose of this is to create a better profile for Roddy but with a fighter of his quality I'd prefer to see something that would really push and develop him more.

    i actually think thats great news , would much rather see the best irish guys gettin in there and beating the best of the hungry , rising uk/european/us fighters , to me thats much better than beating a resemblance of a great fighter guys like jens pulver or chris brennan etc are today .
    looking forward to a great show
