FOR SALE: Old School Cosmic Carbones SSC Wheels

Reluctantly selling my old Cosmic Carbone wheels... note these are the of the pre carbon variety, they'd be third hand, theres a little bit of damage on the rear, but fixable, i just never got around to it. Hence the price, but they're fine. I'll sell the wheels with a ten speed shimano cassette (<500km) for €250 euro and with the tires and tubes for €285. Selling because I've to move and I've no space for em anymore. Not too mad on offers for these, I'd sooner store em at my parents and keep em for the odd summer spin as they roll real fast, very light and are really good fun.
I've also removed half of the decals on each, just to calm em down a bit. Inspections welcome, sooner the better. Cheers.

Based in Rathgar. Can take a photo on Saturday. Apologies but my good camera is away till then and my iphone wouldn be much use taking a picture of a black surface. Basically the rim and foil (?) have come away slightly for about 2 or 3cm on the left side of the front wheel. Barely noticable, but not something i'd willingly hide from a prospective buyer either... doesn't affect performance and can be fixed with tek7 glue if you desired (as suggested by 2 pro race mechanics)

Sorry don't mean to be pedantic but in your first post you say its the rear wheel and in the follow up you say its the front..
They look in great nic, I'd love to see a close up pic of whichever wheel it is..Whenever you get a chance would be great..

Good point! I think its the front, but the truth is I actually don't remember... I'll confirm this anyhows and get a pic up soon, I don't think a black abberation on a black surface will show much but i'll try get it...

If you want to do that, then you cannot make any offer at the viewing, or take the wheels with you if you like them. You would need to return to this thread to make any offer. If anyone offers asking price in the meantime the wheels are theirs.

Have to say these are great wheels. A mate has a set he's ridden for 10 (or more) years and they are still true and roll beautifully.
Great to see a well looked after pair get a new home.
