Was looking at booking a family holiday in Lanzarote for 2 adults and 1 child. When I did a search on the travel agents website I found a flight and hotel that suited for €524 per person.

Only problem was I was booking for three adults instead of two adults and one child. I corrected the error and done another search and the same holiday came back as €563 per person.

Is it standard practice to have an increase for a child vs an adult. Ironically the hotel has apparently got free child places.
