C130 flying over South Dublin (16:48)

    Anyone else spot this? Was flying quite low, maybe 2,000ft heading east. Certainly looked like a C130 anyway.

    Flew over Dundrum at 17.00 heading to Casement. Nice

    Thanks arctan. KC130, which means the two pods which I thought were fuel tanks are actually for the refuelling probes?

    Any info on where they're going next or coming from?

    Yep, when over my head as I was out sunning myself earlier. Didn't see the marking but assumed the light grey was USMC. Didn't have the camera handy or would have had a nice belly shot.


    @280special below: those sort of comments are more suited to After Hours!!!!
    And I wouldn't want to subject anyone to a subpar belly shot!!

    Jokes aside, Seems to have been a fair few US military a/c in and out of Baldonnell lately, is this a regular thing ?

    Damn it, i walked down to dundrum earlier but i was in the center as this would've been flying over :(.
    Seen rescue 116 as i was walking down though :).
