Why Did They Have Headshops When Real Marijuana Is Safer?

    Just wondering, they allowed headshops to sell psychedelic and other drugs that nobody knew what was in them or what they consisted of. I remember looking at the back of one of the packets which said the ingredients included Blue Lotus and Purple Dragon....wtf are they supposed to be??

    Anyway, along comes the Joe Duffy crowd and down they went - but these legal highs were far more dangerous than real marijuana. It just doesn't make any sense that they would close them down and let everyone fall right into the hands of the dealers.....

    Coz Marajuana was illegal and the Head Shop stuff wasn't.

    ....you could show documentaries about prohibition, illegally produced hooch and the like, and any relation between all that and the current situation with drugs will fly over heads, bounce off skulls etc. Drug law is generally not based on facts or science.
