A taxi was hi-jacked in Dublin last night, the driver escaped and the scum drove off.

The scum who hi-jacked it were then involved in a crash in Meath

One of the scum is dead, hopefully the other will follow soon

The others involved in the crash were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries, hopefully they will make a full recovery.

Hopefully the taxi driver is ok too.

The sooner we can put these scumbags down the better. If there were animals they would be put down - they have don't nothing to warrent better treatment than animals so put them down

and no messing around - once they have reached the end of the judicial line then inject them the next day

Is injection cheaper than the chair?? Electricity is gone very dear so it should be

So one guy, which sounds like a thug but is nonetheless a human being, is dead, a number of innocent people are injured and two cars are wrecked. And that's your idea of good news?

I love when people die.....oh wait, they're gone then aren't they?

Thankfully we help rely on our justice system to never wrongfully convict anyone, ever, right?

I clicked on this thread expecting a nice case of good will in this recession, instead I got a priest reveling in the death of two skangers. I'm not complaining btw.

    Of course not

But when the evidence is pretty nailed on then why not??

    Godwin already?!

Still fail to see how it can be classed as good news, especially if you take the rest of the story into account.

How about this for something to cheer people up: it's a beautiful sunny day outside.

Now I know some people might get annoyed by that as they're stuck inside, but it's still a little happier than a fatal car crash.

I thought the sun might have meant a lightening of spirits and a reduced number of "KILL ALL SCUMBAGS" posts, but alas, I was wrong.

I've heard it was pretty much a head-on collision. In such a case even if their physical injuries are fixable, they'll probably be messed up in the head for quite a while to come.

There is nothing good about this story. A mother has lost her son, a taxi driver has lost his means of income, a few other innocents are injured and their mothers may have to care for them for the rest of their lives.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,598 ✭✭✭✭prinz

A mother has lost her son...

If she was all that worried about what he was getting up to he wouldn't be out hijacking taxis tbh.

We are all born equal, that doesn't mean we are all equal or that we should all be mourned equally. The idiot that hi-jacked the car killed himself, he just went about it in a round about way that hurt other people. His family can mourn him all they want, but I certainly won't, he is no loss to the country, though I would bet it's one person off the dole queue.

(I'm not saying everyone on the dole is a thug, just that this particular thug was probably on the dole)

Not at all, sure if they're found in the car and observed on in-car and on-street CCTV hijacking the car involved in the crash (and the hijacking) that they were found in with several eye-witnesses picking them out as those involved, they might still be wrongfully convicted, you never know...

Maybe it was their twins. Or aliens.

No, but she damn sure knows what I'm not doing. Acting like a thug. It's the way I was raised you see. Your man who danced on an innocent workers head 'for the buzz' has a mother too, crying fcking crocodile tears.

Yep it should have been "Scum Good News" and then we could have all been prepared for the OP's truly inspiring post about dead people and wrecked lives while marvelling at his obviously devil may care attitude towards tragedy.
