Adult orthodontic treatment

I am researching adult orthodontic treatment at the moment. I have a bad tooth. It is 4th from top front. My options are either root canal and crown - there's not much of tooth left so would require a pin also, removed and implant, or removal and orthodintic treatment which would correct other slightly crooked teeth too.

I see some posts about 'invisalign' and wonder if this would be an option as there will be a gap to be filled if I have the tooth removed.

I'm just back from the dentist so considering my options at the moment.

Op if you are taking out the tooth an implant is your best option.

Invisalign will (probably very badly) move your current teeth around to fill in gap and look awful.

Thank you for reply. My dentist feels the tracks would be my best overall option, but having looked at them on my children for last few years I just think I'm too old for them.

I have one patient that is 65 years old with braces on at the moment. She has never been more full of confidence since her teeth started to move and she is delighted. You are never too old. Just because its mostly children that get braces do not mean that it has any age limit.
