Anyone know of any providers that sell secure sip trunks (sip over TCP not over UDP ) compatible with Microsoft Lync 2010

    Blueface do not
    UPC do not

    TIA :)

    Hi Tia,

I haven't used lync server before so I can't give you any specific information.

Have you tried Digiweb? They offer SIP trunks and are secured by a static ip address. They will you at the end of each month by direct debit then.

    They're business number is 1800941000.

    Good luck!

OP put an asterisk box in front of your Lync server to terminate your sip trunks.

    Works perfectly!

Secure sip is something that is really missing from the Irish Voip market. I was looking a while ago and couldn't find any provider that offered it or sRTP

I believe eircom sell secure sip trunks.

I have contacted Eircom several times with regard SIP trunking. Eircom will give you one for a phone system they sell you. Eircom retail don't sell the SIP trunking service any more, you can use it if you got it when they were selling it. Eircom wholesale don't either according to what I was told. Besides the company that partially own eircom are in receivership.

UPC don't offer any sip trunk service.
    Perhaps you could try:

I can confirm that Digiweb provide secure sip trunks that work with Lync, using them now .. no setup charge!

Glad to hear you found a solution. They do indeed provide secure trunks secured by IP Address.

For researchers: they provide numbers in blocks of 10, there is no monthly charge, and you can port your number. Calls are charged individually per minute, with the local CLI, not an international one. The down turn is that you require a phone system and a static IP, in this case Microsoft Lync.

Just a quick question. When you say secure do you mean sips (i.e. encrypted)? If yes do they encrypt the RTP?
