Whenever my mum checks her hotmail account on her ipad and makes any changes, i.e. deletes emails whenever she checks the same account on her laptop or work pc the emails are still there. Any changes she makes are not carried through whenever she logs onto another machine. Is there a setting that she is missing. Thanks in advance

She's not 'working offline' on the ipad is she? Does it connect to the net and check for new mails on the ipad? Does she access the mails via the browser or an app?

When she goes on its under 'email' think it might be an app - my sister set it up for her and she thinks it could be an app. She does not log into hotmail through safari. She just finds it annoying that once she deletes emails that they are all back when she logs on through hotmail.com. Looked at hotmail myself and could not see any settings that needed changing.

There should be a setting on hotmail, can't check now as I'm in work.
But it's because of the second Pop folder that hotmail uses to send/recieve emails to other devices. Afaik.
It's deffo a setting tho I remember seeing it.
