A few mornings a week I travel a rural main road. For the last few mornings I've seen a guy running, wearing Jeans and wellies and carrying a stick.

The first morning I thought he was running up the road to head off sheep so I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he's definitely not a shepard so what's his game? Who runs wearing Jeans and wellies brandishing a tree branch?

    Answers on a postcard please

Could you tell if he was drinking his own pee?

I know this guy who lost his job recently and running about the countryside is just his kind of thing....

I'm sure he thought something similar when he saw a princess with a beard.

Thought this was going to be a thread about an abandoned running shoe you found on your doorstep one morning or something.

I was running down this road (Rural) one day this week with my wife baiting stick and I noticed this header staring at me in a car passing by, I thought at first they were admiring my wellies, but the wierdo has been looking at me every day since, the world is full of headers!

Let him off if he's happy out. You probably do stranger things yourself and don't even think about it.

I came in from work last friday at about 3 in the morn and some young lad was sprinting down the road in top flight, there didn't seem to be anyone after him. I didn't hear of any crime committed that night,,just mysterious.

Sometimes if I'm walking home at night drunk I'll run to speed things along, have one or two friends that do the same thing.

That's odd; wellies are a bit heavy to be running in. Otherwise...

Dairy farmer? He's probably trying to build up his calves!

He should be wearing more than jeans and wellies whilst holding his stick.

Ne'er cast a clout 'till May is out. . .

Now if you had realised that a few years back you could be Mark Zuckerberg by this stage.

I was driving to work this morning when all of a sudden I spot this woman running, with a skirt on and a pair of flat red shoes, and a handbag. I was so traumatised - I mean we all know that nobody is allowed to run unless they wear running shoes. ;)

He was there again this morning.

I'll be finished driving that road soon for the summer so I really want to ask why he is not wearing appropriate running attire, and what is the relevance of said stick

Perhaps! I've always been quite partial to a man in wellies ;)

Probably doesn't realise she's in Limerick. God left there a long time ago.
