    I'm not sure if this will get Flagged or something.

    But I've been thinking of getting a server, More importantly a Tekkit server.

    Just wondering is anyone looking to go 50/50? Or maybe another suggestion :)

    Then why are people able to advertise Tekkit servers on http://www.minecraftforum.net without getting the post removed or even a warning?

    Well many have already and the general consensus is that Tekkit servers are legal. Is there some difference under Irish law that would prevent boards.ie from allowing it?

    Again, you will have to ask Boards that.

    The rules say, no hacked servers, only official ones!

    Actually Tekkit is a modded server with the technic mod installed along with other mods. http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tekkit_Wiki

    It's not listed as a hacked anything, if that was the case anyone that uses bukkit is also using a hacked server. Doesn't matter if you installed it yourself or someone else installs it.

    It's accesable through non premium accounts, therefore, it's hacked

    Bukkit works for Minecraft, so that cannot be classed as hacked :)

    Show me where it's listed as hacked.

    From what i see it lists all the larger mods that are preloaded for people to have on their servers.

    Tekkit is a legit server mod, the guys who maintain it also have a forum and ban anyone that posts links to hacked versions of tekkit.

    You need to get off that high horse and actually take the time to research stuff.

    I expect you'll be apologizing to the op for saying he's advertising the use of an illegal/hacked server and making it out he has an illegal copy of minecraft itself.

    tekkit has the same online/offline setting as bukkit does and as far as i can see most tekkit servers require a premium account to join. same as bukkit imho

    Fair enough, encourage the apology, he did make daming acusations without proof.

    What you call a jibe is fact though.

    Fairs fair in all things, I class an accusation as a personal jibe as should anyone else with morals would class it as so.

    Don't go choosing favorites, it always ends up tarring the favorite chooser.

    You agree NOT to use Boards.ie to:

    Clearly states no defaming, of which happened and continued to do so even when others said the OP wasn't condoning the use of hacked stuff, I encourage you enforce that rule as quicly as you did when enforcing your edit on my last one here.

    I have no problem in pointing out that someone may point out certain things about a user, but my problem was the wording you used. tbh I think it was fairly low to say some of those things. Word it better and I have no problem with it.

    Not low, they are true, shown now in the lack of apology/respect owed to the OP.

    pm sent, i also have pm's to back what i said, if I'd posted those then you could claim what I posted as "low" but I request you remove that comment from your post above, thats an accusation that you can't prove. I spoke the truth.

    If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, and I apologies..

    However, what high horse are you talking about? What is your problem?

    Edit: Oh, it must be that PM you sent me a while back where, apparently, I treat you like a child, my server rules are OTT and I don't play on my server enough. Is that right?

    I was 100% under the impression that it was the same as the hacked ones (Can't remember what they're called edit: hamanchi) I thought it was a plugin that actually modded bukkit to bypass the permium feature.. Hmm :/

    :D Sorry if my first post seemed OTT, there just tends to be a lot of hacked server talk as of late, and as above, I thought this was too :)
