    Looks like a good, solid commuter bike. I dont have any recent experience of hub gears, but I expect there's less maintenance(cleaning) required, so good choice for city / urban commuting. It's not the lightest option at 12kg, so better for flat roads (and forests).
    Another thread here might be of interest.

    Looks the same bike (almost identical) is now called Cube Hyde Race Bike 2012, so that 35% discount from CRC isn't as good as it seems.
