have you checked on the iomega site ?
that is the first port of call as it will probably have special software

password could be a hardware one on the drive or a software on on the data on the drive

if it's a normal drive, you could try

hardware password , can be turned off in a computer BIOS, but only if you know the password already, (probably have to take out of enclosure to do this )

    Plan B is http://cmrr.ucsd.edu/hughes/SecureErase.html
this will KILL all data on the drive, forever, and there is a possibility that you could brick the drive too

if it's software , delete the partition and format the drive
dban will overwrite the partition table after a minute or two

I cant get into anything on the drive unless i put the password in ... which i do know.It shows up as "Locked Drive " untill i put the password in .. then it opens up in Auto play . i cant see the program in the drive when its "opened".
No luck on the iomega website . ill give your software recomendation a try if i cant get anywhere . Thanks for the help .

    Have yoy tried this?

    Iomega Encryption Utility
This utility allows you to set up or remove password protection on Iomega external drives that have built-in AES 256-bit encryption.
