I was hoping that somebody might know something about this.

Have UPC and was wondering if there was a code to unlock the film stations permanently, as there is no need for them in my house, with no children present.

Bit annoying that I have to input the code every time I wish to change film channel during the day.

This is not just UPC the situation is the same on Sky.

There is now way around this.

Sky Movies is allowed show 15 rated films around the clock and as a result the channels must be pin protected before 8PM.

By design there is now way to get around this.

I thought that 0000 was the default code?

Ya I think OP though was looking for someway to unlock the movies where he does not have to enter the code everytime he wants to watch something

Bit off topic have ordered digital + boxes for the house. Just wondering how do you remote record on upc app a sky movies film before 8pm if you have to enter a code

I thought the code was only needed when you needed to view it?

I don't have Sky movies so can't check. If you can record a film from the planner without putting in the code I'd say the app will be the same.

Last time I spoke to UPC technical dept,Sept 2011 I was told that no there simply is no workaround on not having to input a code for the movies before they clear up themselves after the watershed.
Movies set to record will record but you will have to enter your code to view them.
not ideal but better than PG films only on all screens until after watershed.
Family movies channel never requires a code.
