    Hey all,

    So I was on Facebook earlier, and I have all these birthday wishes from people...

    Some of these people are people I've not spoken to in years, and some of them are people I barely even know...

    Why are they leaving happy birthday on my wall, I just find it strange that these people come out all at once...

    It's just another thing that annoys me about Facebook and the whole Facebook user base

    Most people have friends or acquaintances who we don't see too often on facebook.
    It's nice to hear from them wishing you happy birthday.

    It's sort of acknowledgement they still remember you exist :D

    It's quite easy to not have your birthday be announced by Facebook.

    Don't be complaining as if you didn't want them all to be noticing you now.

    If you don't want these people saying Happy Birthday to you then why are you friends with these people?

    Also, you don't have to give your date of birth. What you share on facebook is up to you.
