Anyone know why Aer Lingus used an A330 on this mornings run to Malaga?
The a/c arrived in from JFK early this morning and shortly afterwards departed for AGP. Did the scheduled A320 go tech or something?

Aer Lingus use the 330 on this route in the summer months. It's usually the same aircraft used on the EI104 (JFK)

Exactly. Flight number is always EI584/5 for the A330 service. The early DUB-AGP-DUB is usually EI582/3 for the A320/1 service.

Aer Lingus used to use an A330 on the Nice route on certain days during the busy summer season back in 2006 and 2007.

Saw a 330 doing a LGW-GNB charter recently enough. I thought the entire fleet was busy doing the TATL rotations?

The A330 going to Malaga flight has been going on for around 10 years.

We went on to Malaga on a 330 last year. It had come in from New York that morning. Was a great surprise for the children as they weren't expecting seatback entertainment. It was travelling on that that made the decision for us that we would def fly with AL this October to Florida.
