I was thinking of getting a Military Grade phone as I need a hard wearing phone with a good loud earpiece, something along these lines: Samsung Convoy Samsung Rugby Does anyone know if these will work on the Vodafone network as I dont want to buy and find out they are useless here! Thanks.. S'Doc

The convoy no, as its CDMA - thats only used in the US for transmission

The rugby yes as it supports our transmission formats (make sure its unlocked though)

on the rugby confirm with the seller that it takes a standard size sim card and not some
apple jobby or branded US carrier sim card.
