ICS on Unlocked XE

Kind of a noob when it comes to Android but I can't seem to find anything on boards to answer my question.

I bought a Sensation XE Unlocked from Ebay in december and I'm currently on Meteor. And from reading Vodafone, O2 and Three's talk-to fourms, they all explain that they will roll out the update to anyone who bought an android phone on their network.

Even though I didn't buy the phone from Meteor, does it mean I have to manually install ICS to my phone or when Meteor eventually gets ICS will it automatically be pushed to my phone?

I've been an apple head for years so know how to update and jailbreak ect but once it comes to android i've no idea! So any info would be great :)

You should get an unbranded version from HTC when they start rolling it out I'd imagine. Assuming it doesn't have any operator branding on it now.
