A relation has an EX120-5. Recently enough, the hour meter stopped working, but there still is a green light flashing at the bottom of it, so its definately getting power. We need to get this going again. Any ideas?

I don't know how the 120 works, but in a lot cases there is a cable that connects to the engine and this drives the Rev counter and the hour meter in some machines.

If it isn't electronic control, then its probable the cable has broken.

Its hard to know. It looks like an ordinary mechanical-clock type meter, but there is a flashing light on it. Maybe there is a button to knock off the meter when you're not doing work, but the engine is still running, I dunno. Anybody out there familiar with these machines?

if its the model im thinking of the clocks usually just stop. ive seen after market clocks drilled into panels and put in or else just left not working
