    Looking out the office window and all I feel is pure envy, great day to be out on the links, heck I'd happily be playing Ballydung pitch and putt on a day like that! Hope you enjoy the game and I look forward to the update on your sub 80 thread!

    Took the plunge with a half-day today, played Esker Hills where the course was in fantastic condition except for the green which were brutal, more sand than grass on most greens and heavily spiked.
    Chipping onto the 12th and an unmanned tractor reversed onto the green and conked out!!!!! Frightened the living sh1t out of me:eek:

    Today was your loss , it was not a game of golf , more like a chapter of Ulysses. But if I talk as much crap on the course , you are right to leave me on my own. :)

    jesus slave what time was that???..i was out at 1.30...greens are sanded but still the course is in great nick...weather was great and managed to hit one or two good shots ha ha which will bring me out again

    I'd guess around 2 bells when we were at the 12th, some lad left his tractor to go off somewhere and left it running, it reversed and then did a jack-knife on the green and conked out.
    Agree the course was in great nick, great run on the ball but the greens were shocking, lots of patches with zero grass and you could see they were seeding a lot of the greens.
    Anyhow, it beat being in work!!
