    Hi,

I know this seems a silly question but this is my first child and I have no idea what I am suppose to do regarding school....would usually ask my mam but she passed away last year and all my friends are childless so totally on my own on this one

So my question is, how do I go about registering my child for primary schools and when do I go about doing it, at the moment he is 19mths old his birthday is August. Do I just ring them up or is there a particular time of year that you register them...really am clueless

    Thanks in advance :)

It depends from school to school. We operate on a first come first served policy(after siblings)so for us, the earlier the name goes down the better.Ring any school you are interested in asap and ask what their policy is. Get the name down, if you need to,you can always take it off the list if you change your mind.

Sorry to hear about your mam.
