Expresscard Old Laptop

Hi,

I am still on an old Dell inspiron 1720 laptop and I have a quick question about the expresscard slot on it. I am buying two external drives:

Hitachi 2TB Touro Desk Pro USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop Hard Drive

which have USB 3.0. I was thinking of getting a USB 3.0 expresscard adaptor. From what I hear they won't be as high speed as native 3.0 but still a good bit better than 2.0. I don't really know anything about expresscards so I just wanted to ask should this one work for my laptop:

It says it is ExpressCard/54 and the spec for the laptop says that it accepts both ExpressCard/54 and ExpressCard/34.

It all looks OK just wanted a second opinion from someone that knew a bit more than me. Thanks

Either will work, just make sure you factor in delivery of stuff if you're buying the eBay one.
