iphoto on my imac won't open

    Hi I was wondering if anyone can help. iPhoto won't open for me. A window pops up and says...'it can't open as it may be damaged or incomplete'...it had been working fine as all my photos are on it. But now i can't access them.

    Any advice?

    - find your photos (command+space) and make sure they're backed up

    - try to remove the iPhoto.plist file found at /users/username/library/

    - if it doesn't help try to move the entire Home/Pictures/iphotoLibrary library to your desktop

    - if it opens, just open the folder in your desktop and drag and drop the photos

    there might be a proper way to do it -- this is just a work around -- hope it helps
