We normally bucket-rear these but they seem to be very scarce this year in my area (Tipperary). Most of my regular suppliers had mainly bulls, others moved away from AA altogether.
Prefer from farm than mart, but even very few coming out in mart.
    Any suggestions?:(

Hi Pat, they're not cheap as yearlings either, 7-900e. Maybe stick an ad in donedeal, angus x fresian calves wanted. Other possibility is talk to ai man locally, they might be able to tell you where they 'planted' a few last year;)

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Lads. I'm really sick of advertising on Donedeal. My ad disappears within a few hours -poor value for money even at 3 euros. Anyone know of any other sites to sell ag machinery?

I use Donedeal to sell on occasion and agree, the volume of adverts is huge, so they disappear down the list quickly.
Use key-words in the text, as a lot of people (self included) use the Search Box to sort the mess and find more specifically what they are looking for. Unfortunately, this does not always work, as a lot of the advertisers can't spell very well:D

phil, I dont think many people buy on donedeal just by looking at the first few pages.

it's all about searching for whatever it is you're looking for.

Put a good ad, with a good description, a price and as many good clear pics as possible and you'll get callers.

how do mean "disappears",never had a problem,is it just because its gone off the front page.wouldnt worry over that because fellas are spending all night on don edeal and nothing is missed. mind you i try and price things to move.keeping a eye out for a mower with a year or so and see the same stuff coming up 10 times-if it dosent sell it is not worth it
