I'm looking at putting in an R&D Tax Credit claim for one of our software products we've been developing to combat online credit card fraud, I'm going to use someone like R&D Tax Credit Experts to do this as I feel my current Accountant isn't up to speed on R&D tax credit claims. Has anyone used these guys? Are they any good? Do you think it's wise to step away from my current Accountant, just for this bit?

R&D tax credits are not an area typical of a general accountant to know much about. www.leyton.ie will be able to offer you help.
They have a very professional setup and will be able to assist. I used to work for them, and they know their stuff! My 2 cents. :)

They have offices in Ireland, England, France and a few other places. You'll get more info on that link.

Agree with the above. It's a very technical area, and one which will be fairly tightly policed given the level of refund on offer, so well informed advice would be worth the cost.

I've had dealings with Leyton and found them very good and professional.

I agree with the leyton suggestions also. Have also worked with them for our tax credit claim.
