Looking to buy a second hand Marushin M1 Garand, Searching all over for one of these and not sure about buying one online even if on sale.
Im just checking if anyone out there has a Marushin M1 Garand, Full metal and wood, 8mm or 6mm with gas blow-back, second hand or first hand.
I'm only young and am already inter reenactment, with near full 101st Airborne kit.
If anyone out these got one, please get in contact, Before 15th of April if possible
    Thank you all! ^-^
-offering to pay reasonable price of it.

    Apologies for the OT post to the mods, but three things;
    • The existing Marushin M1 Garand - i.e. not the new heretical ASG re-brand one that hasn't yet been released - is as rare as hens teeth at the moment. Even the 8 round stripper clips are bugger difficult to find.
    • The limited edition walnut version was sold in Ireland for about €500. The standard one was a bit cheaper but not by much. So there's an idea of pricing.
    • No I will not be selling mine.

Good luck to you in finding one. They do pop up, but I would say you might have more success on UK forums such as Comrades in Arms, or keep an eye on the Hong Kong retailer websites to see if they get any in stock.

Edit: I lie; RedWolf Airsoft (HK) do have the 6mm version in stock, but not the 8mm standard version.

Hey Andy, thanks fr the Welcome. I'm Seventeen, If thats not a problem... oping you weren't thinknig im like ten trying to buy a gun to go pew pew pew.

And, Lemming, I saw the limited addition version and considered it, but... The price is alot larger than Im willing to pay really, I'm looking for a second hand cause it wouldnt cost as much, If its the case for buying first hand i've found one in the US for 350 but again, I've no clue about shipping and if you can even get one ordered to Ireland from the US without any laws or problems being caused by it. (if someone could help me out there that'd be great)

Ps. Sorry for the bump, I thaught it'd get trouble for doing it but wasn't sure, i'l watch out for that from now on

If we're talking about a Marushin M1 Garand, then expect to be paying upwards of US$650 new, not US$350. That figure sounds way, way, wayyyyyyyyy too low; just to put that in perspective, US$350 is roughly €260. No way in hell is that an Marushin beast; maybe some AEG m14 conversion. I did a cursory glance at Evike who are a well known and large US retailer; and they list the 8mm version at US$800 and is also out of stock anyway.

Regards general ordering & shipping from the US, you should be aware that US guns come with the front 1/8th or so of the barrel painted bright red under US firearms law. So you'll need to deal with that. You need to ensure that the FPS listing for an airsoft gun is < 328.0 fps and/or downgrade if necessary before shipping. Then comes tax when landed in Ireland. Tax will be the VAT rate on gun + shipping combined, plus another €10/20 thrown on top for 'admin' fees.

I've seen a couple of these go up for sale on UK forums, and even second hand, the prices are not cheap. This is a niche gun and you will pay for it.

Best of luck and all, but if you're looking for a bargain bucket Marushin M1 Garand, it's either in a heap and needing replacement parts - which are also rare as hens teeth right now - or it'll be that one in a decade offering price and I'd just save up or get something else rather than take such long odds. If you're doing a 101st airborne loadout, you can pick up a thompson easily enough second hand if stuck, or pick up a grease-gun for a bit more without killing yourself financially. Anything else involves many pennies; M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, BAR (I sold one ... second hand for about €650 and that was still cheap ... ), 30 cal, etc.

Second hand 300 pounds, free shipping and warranty. Also $450 one bran new and the more improved version on sale for that price, new batch that was only in this month.
    240FPS on both.
but one in Ireland here is what I'm really looking for to avoid the 23% customs and all possibility of buying new.

Possibly the recently announced ASG rebrand. You know what prices you have and from where, so there is little point in my posting further. Best of luck.
