Recommend an Acoustician

I was approached this morning regarding advice around improving the acoustics for speech, sound and song in a community centre building / school hall. To be fair, it is a wretched place to try to make anything intelligible but the management committee may have some budget to do something about it in the future. It is way beyond just sticking up some foam as a solution so I suggested they contact an acoustician for professional advice.
Unfortunately, I do not know any. I would value any pointers towards one with a track record if any of you boardsies know of (or even better) have employed the services of one.
    Thanks in advance.
    SD
