iOS, Dropbox and Torrenting

    Guys,
Just playing around with my home setup and noticed a very simple way to use my iPhone (and iPad) as a remote torrent download client.
Basically, I now have Transmission (Excellent Bit torrent server) monitoring a directory within my synced Dropbox account. I believe with uTorrent you can also do this. I have Dropbox installed on my iPhone and when I click on a torrent files (not a Magnet link I am afraid) Safari will offer me the option to open with 'Dropbox'. Opening the torrent file in Dropbox offers me a option to upload it and I just select the same folder that Transmission is monitoring.

Simple as that, Dropbox even seems to remember the folder so it makes it very easy to download lots of torrents.

Anyway, give the limitations Apple has on torrenting apps I though this mechanism was simple and fairly intuitive way and might be useful for people wanting to do the same thing.

Previously I used the Transmission bookmarklet which was fine but I think this way is even easier.

    Hope this helps!

    Jerome
