    does anyone here watch it?

i used to watch it all the time before i got rid of sky and though it was a good enough show. I know the lads on it write for some of the papers that a lot on here don't have much time for - and some talk more reasonably than others - but they spend a lot of their time at matches, talking to the managers, people in the game etc. and have some interesting opinions/stories.

i'm going to watch it this morning for the first time in ages, should be good what way they view kenny & l'pool, i'm assuming that's bound to be on wouldn't be to sure about any other maybe arsenal/tottenham's reversal in fortunes recently and chelsea's CL match this week & overall chance

Met Oliver Holt once in Paris after a CL Final, seemed like a decent enough spud.

I used to listen to it via podcast but it got a bit too much for me. I know it's an English football show but villifying Capello week in and week out got on my tits.

"Aw, the next English manager has to be English innit bruv? Brrat, brrat"

EDIT: I liked the aspect of having journalists from broadsheets and tabloids on though.

I listened to the podcast version a couple of weeks ago with Paddy Barclay (Game Podcast is much poorer without him) on it, the only one I might listen to as well as Henry Winter on a good day.

The rest are insufferable. Holt in particular. Too much self-congratulating and navel gazing.

Martin Samuel looks exactly like the boorish, close minded little-Englander that his writing would have you believe he is.

Wasn't he the guy Graham Taylor verbally destroyed before an England qualifier in 1993? :D

this is a reason i like it as well to hear their opinion's and them lads be closer to players/managers than the majority of people here ever have been i say, so have some interesting things to say on what their like, inside stories - well they could be BS but they have some contacts.

none of the three of them yesterday reckoned dalgleish should be sack yet.

some of them did, not all though in fairness and they think it'll be a better choice for the NT
always wonder what they would have to say about trap if he was their manager; crucified for how bad his english is for starters i think

some come across as a bit arrogant some don't. same with all people really
people here come across like that about watching football on sky or even listening to commentary etc.

the bald lad who is a chelsea supporter, they always ask him about what's going on at chelsea + he be talking about mourinho too - he does interviews with him - the worst imo and a long hair guy who's a spurs fan, knew enough on it i think isn't a whole lot better

don't know but he's a geordie if that helps you

yet here we have a few lads sitting in front of computers gossiping about football and if kenny dalgleish and fergie went for a shít; who's ass would be wiped better afterwards. kenny's ass was spotless in the '80, it took fergie six full attempts of potty training before he got his wiped properly. look how much kenny spends on loo roll though etc. isn't exactly uber cool either is it

The thing that irritates me the most about that show is that they talk about the newspaper articles as if they are gospel. Oh look a piece here by one of my buddies at the Sun says that Celtic are going to move to the premier league. They know full well that 90% of the stories are pure ****e just invented by some journo to fill column inches but they act like the stories are all great scoops. Bunch of arrogant twats.
