Background

Brady vs Manning

The confrontation that so many discussions on this forum come down to. It's been one of the premier heavyweight bouts in the NFL in recent history - two inevitable hall of fame Quarterbacks going head to head in one of the strongest external-division rivalries in the league.

It's a match-up that so rarely disappoints, and this game was no different. The added spice of a trip to the Super Bowl awaiting the victor of this particular match up made it extra special.

The teams had already met in the regular season, with the Colts emerging 27-20 victors at New England. Both teams would go on to win their divisions with 12-4 records, neither enough to avoid the wildcard round. New England would dismantle the Jets, and followed that up by scraping past the Chargers in San Diego. The Colts brushed past Kansas City, and followed that up with a win in Baltimore largely thanks to ex-Patriot Adam Vinatieri's 5 field goals in a game that featured no touchdowns.

The stage was thus set for a clash of the titans.

It didn't disappoint, and that's why we love this sport.

I'm happy to present to you what I believe to be the only copy of this game that can be streamed online. It took just under 14 hours to upload this to youtube from my personal collection, but anyone who has seen it and anyone who will see it as a result will agree that it was worth the wait. Enjoy.

Cam, I can't get fullscreen on the embeded video and have to go to youtube to get it fullscreen. I know it's only a tiny thing but could you fix it?

I cant seem to get that working - are you sure it's not something that's disabled on Boards?

As far as I know, they're not anywhere online that you can stream (which is why I had to upload the Oklahoma State one, because it was very hard to track down). I have the Arkansas episode, I'll upload it to youtube. I'll try get it done tonight but I have to head back to my apartment tonight where I'm laptopless so it mightn't be until next Friday until it's uploaded. The other two episodes are Auburn and Wisconsin, I'm still trying to track them down. Hopefully I'll find them next weekend.

Edit: Actually I'm heading back sooner than I thought I would be so it definitely won't be until next weekend - sorry! If you can't find it elsewhere during the week, I'll upload it from my collection on Friday.

Just finished watching the game and had a long post that I was adding to during the game as I was watching, open in another tab. Stupidly I closed the tab in which I had the post written out in and now it's gone :mad:

I wouldn't give the result, just so we can refer any newcomers to this video when they want to learn how awesome AF is and why Manning and Brady is/are so hyped.
