    Hi folks.

I'm thinking of doing this masters next year and I was wondering if any of you good people on here have done it/are doing it?

i'm just finishing up my outdoor ed degree now. We do a GIS module this semester and i find it pretty interesting. I've done some programming in the past too(mostly forgotten now though). Is it very maths heavy? Would I struggle if I haven't done a science or programming degree? I'm very good with maps.

Also, one of the things (unfortunately) thats attracted me to it is that its funded. Do you have to pay anything extra on top of the 2,750 euro or is that it?

cheers, really appreciate any info or recommendations you have regarding the course.

I really want to know this too. I've applied for maynooth and recently have gained acceptance into University of Edinburgh but it's so expensive this option seems a lot more affordable.

Surely someone must know something about the fees at least? :)

I only stumbled across this thread today, but you could try emailing either of the course co-ordinators.
They're both quite friendly and helpful and should have all the answers you need.

    Co-ordinator
    Dr. Fiona Cawkwell
    E-mail: f.cawkwell@ucc.ie

    or

    Deputy Co-ordinator
    Mr. Darius Bartlett,
    E-mail: d.bartlett@ucc.ie
